It is porous and curved, with a larger specific surface area and higher specific energy, strong adsorption, and the worm-like graphite can interlock with each other. This increases its flexibility, resilience, and processability, making it a high-quality material for producing flexible graphite sheets and various sealing components. It can also be used as a lubricant additive, thermal insulation additive in the metallurgical industry, fireproofing agent, and low-temperature expandable graphite for battery materials.
